Here are a few general guidelines about what you should do in the event of an emergency and you need an out of hours electrician:
Electrical Fire
Water conducts electricity so never pour water on an electrical fire; use ABC fire extinguisher only. If possible, disconnect the power source and immediately call our 24 hour electrician.
Electrical Shock
If possible, immediately disconnect or turn off the power source and contact our emergency electrician. If someone has been injured, call for emergency medical services ASAP and provide first aid to the victim.
Electrical Power lines
Always keep a safe distance (at least 10 meters) between you and any downed power lines. Remain inside your vehicle and call our emergency electrician if a live downed power line should fall across your vehicle.
